We are Hiring – Kitchen Manager

We’re looking for a new Kitchen Manager to join our team and help run the day-to-day workings of the kitchen. We’re looking for a creative individual with a strong work ethic, a good initiative and fresh methods and ideas to help us deliver our food offerings at Sheaf St.

Chief responsibilities:

Menu design, preparation and planning. Working on weekly changing specials for daytime and evening service as well as menus for catered events.

Team management, on-the-job staff training and have a high-level of organisation.

Ordering and stock management with appreciation of costs and budgeting.

Strong leadership skills, highlighted by delegation and leading by example.


What we’re looking for:

A creative and driven individual with a knowledge of seasonal produce and willing to be environmentally conscious in the kitchen.

Experience within a similar role.

An interest in working for an independent business as part of a small team.

A Level 2 hygiene certificate is preferred but not essential.

Experience in large catered events (including private and corporate functions) is preferred but not essential.

Minimum 37.5 hours a week with some admin hours for menu creation and planning.

Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Starting salary £24,000 – £26,000 per annum depending on experience
