Sheaf St x Hyde Park Picture House Presents Heard & Now Seen

We have teamed up with Hyde Park Picture House to present Heard and Now Seen is a new film season exploring ways in which electronic music and dance can help us better navigate the world around us, providing individuals with a greater sense of purpose and place, and helping communities proudly and loudly express who they are.

Film screening of Beats(2019) May 25th
In Scotland in 1994, two teenage boys are best friends with no control over their lives. They decide to risk everything to attend an illegal rave, hoping for the best night of their boring lives.
With special guest DJ sets from Fresh Junk, playing 90s UK rave influenced tracks.
Films screening of Ema (2019) 29th June
After a shocking incident upends her family life and marriage to a tempestuous choreographer, Ema, a reggaeton dancer, sets out on an odyssey of personal liberation, in this incendiary drama about art, desire, and the modern family from director Pablo Larraín (Jackie, Neruda).
Film screening of 120 BPM(2017) 27th July
ACT UP Paris actively protests against the government due to their indifference towards the AIDS epidemic. Meanwhile, Nathan, a gay HIV-negative man, falls in love with Sean, who is HIV-positive.
