International Women’s Week

Oh yes, we’ve programmed together a full WEEKS worth of inclusive and some interactive events. At Sheaf we believe in celebrating and uplifting Women all year round, so we’ve taken a day and made it a week! 

Join us this week for an all gender inclusive clothes swap, open decks, and drag! We want to showcase some of our nearest and dearest people so you may see a few familiar faces.

Come down on Monday 7th March for our all gender inclusive clothes swap facilitated by feminist activist Bonnie Milnes. Bring down your unwanted clothes and leave with a new preloved wardrobe!

Tuesday 8th March is officially International Women’s day and we’re welcoming it in with our own All Queens Mix. An evening of open decks and our full tech kit available, beginners and intermediate welcome! Come and learn how to DJ with Sable co-founder Ora as she leads us through the FUNdamentals of electronic music. come experiment, explore and collaborate in an open and welcoming environment throughout the night.

Drag? DRAG! Drag yourself down to our own version of Drag Life Drawing on Wednesday 9th March. Join our Community Assistant Jas as they lead you through a life drawing you’ve never experienced, modelled by our resident Midnight Dancers Donna The Domme and CHINA. Bring your own materials and let’s DRAW SOME DRAGS in our spacious and colourfully lit event space.

Come Thursday 10th March we have our Sheaf St. resident event Open Deck Thursdays. Join us as we celebrate our home grown talent and all Women line up this Thursday eve. Bob down for a drink and enjoy a private set in the events space with full club sound system, lighting and visuals, or in our more social cafe/bar area open to members of the public. 

Friday 11th March we will be welcoming DJ Mami Chula to The Friday Night Residency. 

The weekend carries on with two women headliners, DJ SIMZ at Back to Bhangra and Tailor Jae at Matchbox 001. – Matchbox 001 – Back to Bhangra

Sheaf St is a CASHLESS venue – card only. Sheaf St. is a café, a bar, and multifunctional event space.
